Also known as Core Science, AQA Science is usually studied in year 10, or recently started in year 9. It is one of the compulsory school subjects and will give you a single GCSE in Science.
There is then the option of continuing with science by taking Additional Science or Additional Applied Science.
There are two paths to AQA Science – Route 1 and Route 2. They cover the same content, but the exams are slightly different.
Make sure you know which you’re taking – A or B!
